Consumer ServicesSewing & Alterations

This little downtown gem has been a local sewing repair shop since the 1960's. We service customers in Upland, Pomona, Ontario, Alta Loma, Claremont, La Verne, Fontana, San Dimas, Diamond Bar, Rialto, Eastvale, Jurupa Valley, Corona, Riverside and even the High Desert. At that time it was a family-ran business until Lou and Rosalie bought the location in 1995. Great ideas! They do long arm quilting here, everyone is very helpful. Lots for a quilter, and classes available too!

The owner is extremely RUDE! I purchased a Babylock in 2021 during COVID. Many of the classes offered with the machine I purchased were cancelled, understandably so. Dropped off my mom's Bernina sewing machine for service, it's a older model and it got a basic service and that's all it needed. So yes it's a good place to take your sewing machine there for work.

I purchased the Baby Lock Zest beginner machine. It's perfect for making seat covers and curtains for van builds, also great for denim. When you buy a machine you also get free classes on how to use it. Laura Mae is awesome, she's very knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend this place!

This is the second time I brought in my vacuum for repair, was given a date when it would be ready for pickup only to find out that my machine had been sitting there untouched and parts not ordered. They don't seem to care and don't listen to our concerns. Today we removed our vacuum from their premises and took it to another local shop where it was repaired on the spot. We will never do business with Upland vac and sew again !
