I had been on the hunt for a new dentist for quite a while. It’s not that I was utterly miserable with my previous one – it was more like I was caught in a dental version of Groundhog Day. Each visit felt like an adventure, but not the kind you’d want to post about on social media. With staff who seemed to major in “Customer Service? What’s that?” it never quite hit the pleasant mark. I will not recommend Thornydale Dental to anyone. I had to choose a new dentist due to mine closing. My last dentist was very prompt and professional in getting my dentures to me within a week. I never had any issues with the dentures so Sobviously they were made sturdy. My bottom denture broke in half so I had to get a whole new one which took one and a half months to get from Thornydale Dental. No solution, no sense of urgency, no rush on their part..so I had to be WITHOUT bottom teeth ...which was embarrassing ..not to me... read more

All personnel from front desk service to dental hygienist to new owner (Dr. Bomar) were helpful and pleasant… My dental hygienist (Luis) was gentle, thorough and kind… The transition from Dr. Penfil’s retirement to new ownership was seamless…

When I went for my six month dental checkup in late August, there was an entirely new staff at the office. It was not until I was already in the chair that I was told the previous dentist (who I had really liked and seen six months prior in late February) had retired. Before any type of exam or check up was done, the dental hygenist asked me what time I was hoping to leave by. I was due for yearly x-rays, which were done. By far this was the most thorough cleaning I have ever had. Luis was amazing. The following week I saw Dr Bomar for 2 crowns. She is amazing with the numbing needle…. Didn’t feel a thing. She explained the entire procedure and Alex who assisted with the procedure was wonderful and went out of his way to schedule my permanent crowns at a convenient time for me.
