This is the best hardware store on the planet! I love this place! It has a family old-school vibe with a great selection and reasonable prices. They seem to have everything! Best part is that it’s NOT a big box chain store. The workers are super friendly and always available to help you find what you are looking for. I urge you to checkout Southland for your hardware , home supplies and gardening needs.

Awesome and huge hardware store. The inside is way bigger than I expected! I needed to find a very specific part and the employee I asked knew exactly what I needed and showed me immediately where it was stocked. Great experience! I recommend checking out this local hardware store.

Thank you Southland Hardware for helping me understand how to install 2 contemporary wall-mounted bookcases in a 1912 stucco-walled home. The project came out beautifully!!

I grew up in the neighborhood (attended Lanier and Lamar) and continue to live in the neighborhood. Southland is a cornerstone of our community. They provide service, advice, and products with respect, courtesy, and at a fair price. They pretty much always have what you need. In my case, each time I visit, I leave with something I do NOT need, but certainly want! Unlike how I would feel if she were to go to go try to shop at a box store, I feel safe and comfortable having my 87-year-old mother go shopping at Southland. Check... read more
