I always wanted to try Litchfield Auto and when the AC went out on my 2012 Miata recently it was the perfect opportunity. I dropped the car off around 7:15 AM and went home. At 7:50 they sent me a text with an estimate for recharge and dye test. I authorized that and by 9:30 they had completed the test and sent an estimate for replacing the suction and discharge lines, as they were leaking. Very fast service. I dropped off my truck Tuesday morning before eight but an hour later all done on my way home, I have nothing negative to say about this establishment. I have done major repairs on my truck and what I can say is I come out happy saying that it’s done right the first time never had to return the vehicle For something that wasn’t done right the first time. I have recommended this place to friends and they have been just pleased. With them.

I appreciate Litchfield Auto for servicing our family cars over the last 6 years. My only improve is if they can add photos to the diagnosis reports for the car owner to “see” the items in question and also educate the client as well. I think this will benefit all of us especially when the cost to repair is challenging. Thank you Jenny and team!

🚨Scam Alert – Outrageous Diagnostic Fee! I brought my 2008 Ford E250 to Litchfield Auto for a check engine light. Rene told me it would cost $800 just to diagnose the issue, which is absolutely outrageous. When I questioned it, he claimed the fee would go toward any future repairs. Litchfield Auto is about the most honest repair shop I've ever used, short of my own dad's business years ago. I trust them completely with all my cars. They tell me straight up what they know, are honest about what is a mystery and work hard to mitigate my out of pocket costs. And they are so nice while going about their business. Every person in the shop is polite and the place is always spotless. That matters in a repair shop. You really don't want a dirty mechanic.
