Quiet luxury at a reasonable price. We organized a rehearsal dinner and had many of our guests stay at the resort for our nearby wedding in June. The staff and service was top notch, so welcoming and accommodating. The pool, golf, kayak rental, and smores were such a fun touch for our guests to enjoy together. We also received small gifts on our arrival and night of our wedding. The rooms were very comfortable and also dog friendly. We highly recommend this resort!

Beautiful hotel. Very nice lobby and nice rooms. But like many a hotel, they seem to focus on visual appeal and service falls by the wayside. Check in and out was fast. But the room service was terrible. Had ants all over the counters, lake flies on the ceiling, the shower drained very slow, I addressed all these issues with the hotel but they never addressed them. Wonderful experience all around. We stayed in a room with our own private fire pit. The kids absolutely loved every moment of our vacation. We paddle boarded on the lake in the day and swam in their beautiful pools at night. Topped it off with making s'mores at the fire pit. It was literally everything we were looking for. We also enjoyed walking to the 2 close restaurants which the kids loved as well. Our favorite was the dockside Amalfi. Their pizza was incredible. WORST sleep ever at the Lakehouse Resort. This resort is more of a glorified motel. The check-in area is charming but the rooms are lacking character and furnishing dated and showing obvious signs of wear and tear. The room size is nice but instead of using two queen or king beds (plenty of room for these bed options), they chose two double beds with THREE full size nightstands. Good place to do a weekend couple get away once a while. Best if you get a room with Lake view as sipping coffee with ur significant other and watching ducks swimming or fish jumping out of water is so relaxing. It's an island time here if you know what I mean!
