The prior reviews are correct, not really worth the resort pricing and fees in my opinion, very run down rooms. They are a nice large size but all of the furniture was chipped, stained, scuffed and dingy. Dust and dead bugs on the baseboards and lights. Carpet is genuinely quite stained, it's not just the pattern. Shower drain is slow so we were standings in a bucket the whole time. Quiet luxury at a reasonable price. We organized a rehearsal dinner and had many of our guests stay at the resort for our nearby wedding in June. The staff and service was top notch, so welcoming and accommodating. The pool, golf, kayak rental, and smores were such a fun touch for our guests to enjoy together. We also received small gifts on our arrival and night of our wedding. The rooms were very comfortable and also dog friendly. We highly recommend this resort!

This is such an awesome little getaway. Perfectly hidden next to Lake San Marcos in a quiet community this spot is worth the visit. The staff is great and very accommodating. With a couple different room types it is easy to get lost in the many activities the resort offers. Like any resort the fees seem a little over priced but it is still a fun place to visit.

Stayed in the 1-bedroom cottage for my wedding weekend (got married here too). It was perfect as our bridal suite for getting ready and so convenient, easy, and beautiful getting married here (I also hired a great team of vendors, especially my wedding coordinator). Rooms were clean, views were gorgeous, and I love that there are two good restaurant options that are basically on-site (Brickman's and Amalfi's). Beautiful hotel. Very nice lobby and nice rooms. But like many a hotel, they seem to focus on visual appeal and service falls by the wayside. Check in and out was fast. But the room service was terrible. Had ants all over the counters, lake flies on the ceiling, the shower drained very slow, I addressed all these issues with the hotel but they never addressed them. Our room was never serviced even though I placed the door tag to request service. The pool and bar were nice. Cafe had good coffee but microwaved food. Not enough... read more
