We wouldn't dream of ever staying anywhere else! The rooms are always spotless, the owner is a gem, she always remembers us and takes the best care. There are games and stuff for kids to do, beautiful shade to sit under and enjoy the outdoors, must a short drive to swim or go to town! We visit home a few times a year and this will always be the spot for us!
The location of this motel is what caught my attention to start with, close to the bay on a trip headed North. It offers the convenience of booking online and the personal touch of chatting with the owners when you arrive. The rooms are clean and have everything needed for the night. I will definitely stay here again if I find myself in the area.
Just spent Memorial weekend at Bay View. Room was great. It was very clean and you cannot beat the view. Owners are great and very helpful. Highly recommend this motel if you are in the Escanaba area.
Bay View Motel was such a great road trip find as we explored the UP! Definitely the best bang for your buck. Pet friendly, clean rooms (you could see the vacuum marks on the carpet), free grills to use, and a game room! 12/10 would recommend.
This place was awesome with a very lovely view of the outside woods from our room. We had a game room that was fun to play pool and hang out with the family. The scenery was beautiful in the mornings with the sun coming over the trees. The staff was amazing and very pleasant. Can't wait to go back next yr. The room was excellent had a regular size fridge that was a plus. The stay was awesome and the fall weather was worth the stay.
